Migration:
Samuel Bailey, Jr., was born in Bradford, near Rowley, in Essex County, Massachusetts. He moved with his parents a few miles away to Andover, also in Essex County. He was married in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and his wife Hannah Kittridge joined him in Andover. He responded to the call to arms at the age of 55, joined the Minute Men, and died in one of the early, and most famous battles of the Revolutionary War.
Wife’s Parents:
James Kittredge (August 22, 1687 – January 23, 1754) and Sarah Towle (dates unknown). [James Kittredge was a grandson of John Kittredge, an immigrant ancestor, who was born in Lovestroit, England in 1630.]
