Ausland, Gunvor Olsdatter Mo, (1827 - 1910), daughter of Ole Anderson Mo and ranghild Torsdatter Vevstad, married Knut Nilsen Eskeland Ausland, mother of eight children including Thor Martin Ausland, Thor Knutsen Ausland and Ole Knutsen Ausland; was a homemaker, born on the farm Moe and moved to the farm Ausland, both in the viscinity of Gjerstad, Norway.

Ausland, William Nelson (later known as William Martin), (1909 – 1974), son of Martin Ausland and Una Ochsner Ausland, married (1) Jean ??? and (2) Hazel ???; was civilian construction engineer on Wake Island before beginning of World War II when he was taken prisoner by Japanese; following repatriation to Emmetsburg, Iowa, designed and built several homes in partnership with James Albert Ausland; later moved to California and then to Arizona.

Una taught elementary children in Chamberlin before her marriage.
